http://entertainmentmedia24.blogspot.com/If we would define the term body piercing, we would find that it is somewhat a more popular term for body modification, in which a person creates a hole or puncture in his/her body part(s) to wear some specifically designed jewelry. These body parts could be nostrils, ear lobes, upper or outer ears, genitals, nipples, belly buttons, lips, chin, eyelashes, eyebrows, tongue, etc. There is something very magnetic about people with visible body piercing. Both males and females go for it, because of various reasons, which we'll talk about later in the article.

14% among all have piercing in other than traditional body parts.

Earlobe and nostril piercing are the two most common types of piercings people opt for. But did you know, 'about fourteen percent of the people on earth have piercing in body parts other than ears and nose'? Well, a research conducted in the year 2006 says so.

It's an old custom.

And, did you also know that the anthropologists and archeologists have found the first solid evidence of body knifing around 2500 BC; they have found an earring, and have traced its age, via carbon-aging system. The tribes used it as a rule is the most common belief, however, the researchers are still digging to find more clues on it. So far, the history diggers have unearthed many mummified bodies with ear piercing. African, American, Indian tribes used to wear rings and jewelries in many body parts, including ears, nose and lips.
Even ancient texts have mentions of earrings.

There is some mentioning about earrings in the Holy Bible (in Genesis 35:4 and 24:22). Furthermore, in several thousand years old Indian mythology, illustration of Devi Laxmi wears earrings. Even more, the oldest text on earth, the Vedas quote the earrings of the Goddess Laxmi.

Numerous reasons for numerous people for wearing body jewelries

Opinions change from people to people. It is a very famous saying which deems true when people express their views on body modification. In many, if not most, parts of the globe, people have different judgments on this tradition. Some believe it is a sin to wear jewelries in genitals, while those who choose it affirm that genital piercing has boosted their sex drive. There is a huge majority that sports body jewelries for enhancing their style statement.

Doctors, on the other hand, have a very different stance. Puncturing a specific body part to wear a piece of ornaments should be done carefully. There could appear a number of side effects, if practiced wrongly or unhygienically. Wearing best quality ornaments is always suggestible.

Celebrate Your Body Jewelry With the Best Promotion Strategies AroundWhy do online shops work better today? Almost everyone has access to the internet and with that comes the exposure that leads customers directly to the brands and their websites; many of which are available at best prices, discounted rates and even have offers coupled with other exciting products. These advantages are no different when it comes to body jewelry. There is a huge market out there for the various enhancements available for exclusive admirers of body jewelry and other added accessories. New designers who are unable to advertise their wares on a large-scale can face a problem when competing with such larger brands that sport a huge budget for their advertising needs.

Trying Out the Retail Front

Opening up retail stores cost a lot of money. A shop needs to be rented or leased. Staff needs to be appointed, interiors need to be done or changed and the appropriate furniture ordered to showcase some of your best work. Collectively it can amount to a large expense; and even then you cannot guarantee that this investment will work out and you will begin to see some sort of return on your investment. Moreover there are other specialized brands which have a monopoly in this market and a small time entrepreneur, even with a uniquely created design, may not be able to make a dent in this scenario.

Getting Up Close and Personal With Piercing Shops

This is another way to sell your body jewelry. Piercing shops experience an influx of visitors and window shoppers, day-in and day-out. They are the perfect people to advertise and sell your wares. Customers see your designs directly, examine and then choose them, thereby making your creations popular. There is no added advertising cost as the shop has its own clientele. Many shops even have their own websites which will display your designs on their pages providing new and enterprising young designers, even more exposure.

Showcasing Your Work on the Web

Starting your own website has never been as easy as it is today. It doesn't take much investment but there is the cost of taking on the technology and designing your website. Set this up and you could see your designs being displayed in a large way with orders that could be placed right on the website. Of course you will need to have a good number of designs on display to attract the customer's eye. With a bit of advertising, you could ensure the body jewelry segment knows about your designs and your newly launched brand. Apart from that, you could also advertise on other popular shopping portals in the body jewelry market. Many popular websites offer a superb mix of wholesale products from various designers, giving them a great option to sell their exclusively designed creations.

BodFx is a popular retailer in the body jewelry category with a varied and extraordinary collection brought in from the caches of leading wholesalers and distribution companies.

Importance of a Safe Environment for Your PiercingYou rarely worry about a certain piece of jewelry you are sporting causing an adverse reaction on your body unless it is an allergic one. In the case of body piercing, this worry could be warranted. Body jewelry is very different from your standard rings, necklaces and bracelets. For one you are actually piercing your body with a foreign object, creating a wound and an opening and then inserting another object inside it. While preparing your body for such a wound, you need to ensure that the implements and the components being used are of the highest quality and won't cause undue stress; at least, more than justified.

Ensure Your Piercing Is in a Sterile Environment

The only way to ensure your wound or piercing does not get infected is by confirming the use of safest elements on it. Moreover it should be done at a certified body piercing studio with qualified piercers. Every self-respecting piercer understands importance of utilizing only authentic instruments and 100% safe jewelry. Even these are auto-claved (sterilized) before every procedure. Gloves and anti-bacterial solutions ensure that no infections are transferred as the piercing is carried out. The initial body jewelry needs to be the safest as your body takes time to heal. Once the healing process is complete you can then switch to the different styles and designs that are available in the market.

Choosing the Right Body Jewelry

The initial body jewelry that is used immediately after creating the hole needs to be smooth, with absolutely no scratches or grooves. The reason for extreme care while selecting jewelry after the first piercing is that when the body heals, new tissues grow in and around the metal, making it difficult for the new skin to breathe if the fit is too tight. Certain metals are harmless when used with the body like steel, titanium, niobium, platinum or gold. Surgical steel is by far the most favorite of all. These are sterilized before they are used by piercers who have a supply of various pieces available with them, from which you can choose.

Life after Piercing

Other metals like nickel and platinum, glass and even biocompatible polymers are used in the body jewelry segment. After 3-6 months of the piercing you are free to choose whatever you want and display it proudly. Other entrants in the world of body jewelry like acrylics, PTFE and even gems and gemstones are also widely used. Many of these can be auto-claved which means they can be considered as the first jewelry to be inserted while the wound heals. Piercers can help and advise you on the proper procedures to be followed as well as the dos and don'ts.

Bodfx is a leading retail store with an assortment of stunning body jewelry showcasing the latest trends. It also has a brand new facility with professional piercers ready to serve.

http://entertainmentmedia24.blogspot.com/2015/07/uncommon-facts-about-body-piercing-and.htmlBody Piercing has become the hottest trend among the fashion buffs of today. It is a practice that supports the expression, 'My Body My Style'. According to an estimate, around ten to fifteen percent of population in the United States has at least one pierced body part. It is a kind of body modification, where the pierced body part, with a set of jewelry, creates the statement. Ear and nose piercing are a widely observed scenes, while in the modern age, people have gone a step further, and have started puncturing their other body parts, as eyelids, eyebrows, cheeks, lips, belly, nipples, and even genitals. People wear rings, and various other designer jewelry in their pierced parts.

Various reasons exist there behind people's going for body piercing. A number of people go for it because of their customs and religion, while many do it to upgrade their fashion sense. Be it whatever grounds, people having pierced body parts successfully manage to catch the eyes of the onlookers, and no doubt leave an extraordinary convention.

How Body Piercing Works?

According to the fashion-forward people, modifications give them confidence to present themselves in a unique manner. (However, those who do not support this idea also state the same acclamation, but in a different tone.)

The standard definition of body piercing could be - 'creating puncture(s) in body part(s) to wear some sort of jewelry'. It is far different from the earlobe and nose nicking.

When puncturing your ear lobes or nose, the technician uses a piercing gun that fires the drill into the soft tissues. It is a quick and less painful way. On the other hand, while piercing sensitive body parts, like, tongue, nipples or genitals, a special method comes into play. The instruments used for such piercings differ from the one used for normal piercing. Needles made of surgical steel is the best way used for such piercings.

Hygienic and comfortable environment are other assets of a successful and safe piercing. Right after puncturing, it is advisable to put a starter jewelry of standard quality after sanitation. Doing so would remove the chances of allergic reactions. You can use a starter jewelry made of surgical steel or gold.

After successful piercing and wait for its healing is over, you can wear your desired jewelry on the punched body part. Ball closure rings suit almost every body part. There are different styles of ball closure rings available. Barbells are also an interesting enhancements for ears. Belly Bars are specially designed to wear on belly buttons. Labrets are best suited for lips. Nipples could be adorned with uniquely crafted nipple rings, bars, and barbells.

Body piercing is a dangerous thing but despite this many are in favor only to wear designer jewelry and look good.

A huge range of wholesale body jewelry is available at the online stores.

If done the wrong way, ear stretching can give you unbearable pain, and can even kill your ears, (yes, literally!). Ear stretching is the latest trend, in which, one punctures and stretches one's ear lobes, to an extreme level, wears a stylish carved jewelry (as plugs and tunnels) in the stretched part. Some traditionalists believe that it is irksome or disturbing, but gauged ears look pretty appealing and attractive. However, this body art should be done very carefully. If you are going to stretch your ear lobes for the first time, here are a few Dos and Don'ts to follow. But before we proceed to that, let us have a look at some consideration, before you step into a professional body art workshop -

There's no looking back! When you get your earlobes stretched, remember that it is a permanent fix, your old natural ears would never return. It is also true with piercing. Cosmetic surgery is the only possible repair for stretched ears. So, before you go for ear stretching, you should make up your mind, and decide, if you really want this or not.

Consult a renowned body art center - If some accident occurs, because of the mishandling or the lack of experience of the piercer, you wouldn't be able to get your old natural ears back. To avoid such (and any) mishaps, visiting a professional piercer is always advisable.

Dos and Don'ts

Being a newcomer to the ear stretching fashion, there must be running around some rumors, in your mind, which you heard from someone, or one of the friends or relatives of someone. Well, if you have decided to stretch your earlobes, you should approach with a positive frame of mind. Here are some clear suggestions or Dos and Don'ts -

Suggested Material - Surgical stainless steel is considered as the best material for ear plugs or body art jewelries, for the first timers. After the stretching is healed, you can wear charms made up of any material.
Recommended Size - 'Slow and steady wins the race' is one of the most heard stories of all time. When stretching your ears for the first time, you can use the tapers starting from 14G to 18G, based on the structuring of your ears and lobes.

Reducing the Pain - There are a number of solutions - like composition of Karanja oil and Jojoba Oil - which you can apply while inserting the drill through your lobes. These are naturally medicated oils that lower the pain during the procedure, and help healing the skin more quickly. You should never use any water base solution while stretching your earlobes.

Bleeding - If it bleeds, you should stop, and wait for the injury to recover completely. Ideally, there are very less chances of bleeding, but when it happens, you should discontinue it for a while.

Manufacturers and seller of wholesale ear gauges are aware of the hazards of ear stretching for first time and hence use non-toxic material for making such jewelry.

It's the Holy Spirit's job to convict, God's job to judge and my job to love.

We Love As He Loves Us

THREE divinely appointed roles. It makes life much simpler for a Christian to be faithful, to both their faith and to all their relationships, when they can hold this pithy sixteen-word statement in the tensions of their consciousness.

THE HOLY SPIRIT'S ROLE - CONVICT!

It is such a comfort to know, that, from an evangelistic perspective, it's the Holy Spirit that must move in a person's heart. We can only put before them the teaching. We can only teach the Word of the Scriptures. We can only model the Scriptures in our lives. Then, and only then, in the sense of good timing, can the Holy Spirit quicken a person to a decision only they can make. Many people who have apparently 'come to faith' never actually progress in the faith. Jesus talks about the four types of seed in Mark 4:1-20. Only one seed of those four that Jesus alluded to - those who have been convicted by the Holy Spirit - will "hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop - thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown." The Holy Spirit will not force a person beyond their will - that's love!

GOD'S ROLE - JUDGE!

How are we to know with any definite certainty in this life what the Judgments of God will look like - their effect - and who they'll affect, and how they will affect any of us? We really have no idea other than what the Bible tells us. We can trust the Bible as the Word of God, but the Bible is only so instructive. Why would we then cavort with potential lies? It's the devil's playground to preach 'turn or burn' without love. Shudder to think that we, in preaching such a venomous and vexatious message, might be the ones who say, "Lord, Lord," only for him to say, "I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!" (See Matthew 7:21-23) It is a divine mystery that the Judgments of God are couched intrinsically in love. That, they are! Such knowledge is only ours by faith. Our role, personally, as far as God's Judgment is concerned, is to receive the truth: how can we expect to be saved if we do not wish to be saved?

ANY HUMAN BEING'S ROLE - LOVE!

Isn't life simpler when we know we only have to love? Not exactly. To love is hard work, but only to the extent that we must pour contempt on our pride continually or act diligently when we are tempted by fear or laziness. And then, when we genuinely have the Holy Spirit, we find it intuitive to love - we are convicted every time (every day!) we stray from the will of God. Repentance becomes our byword and love is the response of our repentance. Simply, we love people with the love God loves us with.
***

Accepting our role as a human being is none other than simply to love. Love's role is none other than to simply accept all other human beings.

We allow others to settle matters of conscience according to their own devices. And yet, we can still teach the matters of God with consciences free because we are tied only to his Word.
God is love and that is our invitation; to excel in our love, like Jesus.

Love Is the Most Important CurrencyFebruary is the month when everyone focuses on love and expressing it to those you love. Who can escape thinking about it with all the red or pink hearts exploding into view in all retail establishments, or the plush cuddly animals, chocolate covered delicacies or bouquets of roses lavishly displayed on every corner. It's good to be reminded to express our love to those we do love, but love isn't something that comes once a year due to the major advertising campaigns urging you to purchase hearts, flowers or chocolates for someone special.

Currency, according to Webster, is a medium of exchange passed from hand to hand. Passing anything from hand to hand involves a flow of energetic exchange. Love and any expression of love is a flow of energy just as any type of currency exchange involves the flow of energy.

We are the sum of our actions. No matter what beautiful words you speak, it is your behavior (actions/energy) that speaks the loudest and tell what you truly are. Love isn't something that you give here and there or feel once in a while; it is to be your way of life. There are only two emotional energetic vibrations in this world: ones based in love and those based in fear. Fear vibrations are energetic pathways of negativity and always produce negative results while love is a positive energetic pathway that yields positive outcomes.

I love the phrase "If you give love you gather love." Nothing is truer than this concept, that what you hand out energetically is what is handed back to you - currency. To me it's a no brainer that this is the only way to live - from a core of love. And by the way, love is your essence, what you were created from; it's who you really are and have been from your birth and before! So doesn't it make sense to live in a space of love all the time, not just on February 14th?

However, it is wonderful to take a moment to acknowledge our love for those we love, but making it a habit of living through love shares love with everyone whom we come into daily contact as an everyday practice. Granted, there are different levels of love for different people in our lives, but if the currency you hand out is always love, then that is what is handed back to you. Again, it seems to be a no brainer that you would always want to be receiving loving and positive experiences, therefore making it necessary to give love out first. Everyone and everything in the universe is energetically connected in every way, so what we feel and do is carried throughout the universe and is always what in the end, comes right back at us.

You've undoubtedly heard the concept of Pay-It-Forward. A movie was even made using this title and the concept of sharing an act of kindness which in turn leads to another act of kindness is the plot of this movie. Paying it forward, or handing out a currency, creates an amazing ripple effect that creates positive expressions if it begins with love.

What are some other expressions of love from which we can lay a foundation of love on which to build our life? Acceptance of every person as a masterpiece and worthy of receiving love is one expression. Allowing another individual to be who they are even if we don't agree with what they choose, is acceptance. Appreciating others and seeing their value even if they are mean and hurtful is an expression of love. Everyone has worthiness although with some individuals it may be difficult to see! But in appreciating even one thing about them it allows you to rise above their negative energy, thus allowing you to shine from a space of love.

Gratitude for life itself and everyone who crosses your path is a most empowering expression of love. In fact, it is the most powerful tool for living an empowered life. Forgiving another who has hurt you or caused you pain expresses love in a most noble way, for in forgiving them you free yourself from their hold over you and allow your energy to be focused in a positive place that better serves you. Lack of forgiveness keeps you small and bound up as a victim... not where most individuals want to remain if they think about it. Healing can only take place with love, so healing any relationship issue always requires forgiveness.

Understanding, compassion and respecting others raises you up into the higher vibration where love abides. Humility, strength and courage are also found in the flow of high vibrations. There are many other expressions of love - anything positive that helps others and produces positive outcomes. Even great health requires love to heal since all physical conditions first began as emotional, mental and/or spiritual blocks of negativity.

Do you love yourself and who you are right now? This is where you must start, for it is impossible to love anyone else without first loving yourself - you cannot give what you do not have! You may want to change some things about yourself, but first you must accept and love you just as you are. Once you've done that, you are in a position for transformation if you so desire.

So as we focus on love this month, ponder the things I've shared, then commit to creating a life filled with love all the time by placing love at the core of everything you do and say - being the love. That's what makes life wonderful and extraordinary, and what makes you a magnet for attracting love and the good things is brings to you!

Everyone in this world wants love in their life even if they say otherwise. In fact, love is one of the needs we have for life - to love and be loved... we cannot survive without it. But often the world operates from fear and love cannot be seen. Fear expresses as anger, hurt, pain, jealousy, revenge, retaliation, judgment, etc. Love however, expresses as acceptance, appreciation, compassion, humility, understanding, caring, etc. Which do you want in your life? If you give love, you gather love!

5 Common Character Archetypes in CartoonsWhether we're looking at Shakespeare or SpongeBob, there are common character archetypes that appear in stories across time and cultures. Archetypes are characterized or classified by the role they serve or their purpose in a story. The classical archetypes of a good story include the protagonist and antagonist, the mentor, the sidekick, and the love interest. Let's take a closer look at these five archetypes and how animation studios bring them to life.

The Protagonist

This protagonist is the main character in a story, show or movie. In many cases, this character turns out to be the hero. It is usually easy to identify the protagonist because the storyline revolves around them and their lives, problems and internal conflicts. Roughly, in Greek, the word protagonist translates to "player of the first part" or "chief actor."

Why is a protagonist so important? They aren't always the heroes; sometimes they are just the focal point in a show or even in an advertisement. A protagonist is typically on the "good side," and follows a moral compass that many deem good. The protagonist is likely to change throughout a story and that action expresses the theme of a story an animation studio is trying to put out. A protagonist serves as a doorway into an emotional story or an emotional heart. They tend to draw a viewer or reader into the story. The best protagonists are characters that people can relate to. As a viewer, you may have shared hopes, fears or goals with a protagonist.

When we look to animation and some of the most well known protagonists we see characters like Buzz and Woody or Superman. Though heroes in our eyes, protagonists are far from perfect. They hold some type of flaw, whether it be internal or within their environment. The conflict they face then causes them to fight back or fall back from the big obstacle, and the way they choose to react to a situation is how we choose to interpret the character's qualities.

The Antagonist

Classical forms of storytelling feature a main character known as the protagonist, which we discussed. This character will typically enter the story first. Then enters the antagonist. This character is typically depicted as the "bad guy" or the "villain." Antagonists are without a doubt entertaining and bring a moral conflict to light, which as a result puts our hero at a fork in a moral road.

These characters serve to teach viewers wrong from right. These characters are an essential component to any story for many reasons. They are the primary opposition for a protagonist. They elicit the protagonist in the story to change their perception and try to live in a less flawed world, no matter who or what they must hurt to attain it.

When an antagonist or a villain in any story is personifying a central conflict, it brings a different element to a story that will benefit it. The pressure an antagonist puts on the protagonist eventually brings forth inner conflicts. These characters typically test their counterpart's moral compass and commitment to being morally just.

The Sidekick

The role of a sidekick was once referred to as the "close companion." This role dates back more than a century. Specifically, we have our first literary glimpse at a sidekick in The Epic of Gilgamesh, which features a protagonist-sidekick. The main character seeks not only friendship, but also advice from Enkidu. This character has defined many of the consistent and quality characteristics we seek in a great sidekick in regards to a production of a film, book or television series and more.

Gilgamesh was unarguably the main character. However, the epic reveals that the secondary character, Enkidu, played a smaller but still meaningful role in the story. When Enkidu is killed, Gilgamesh responds aggressively because he has grown close to his friend and confidant. The depth of the reaction Gilgamesh has not only adds depth to him as a character, but also lets the audience know how significant the bond was between the protagonist and sidekick.

Another common trope of the sidekick is to infuse the story with humor. This is especially true of animated characters. Where would Bugs Bunny be without Daffy Duck to set him off? Some may see Daffy as more of an antagonist, but he's not really out to get Bugs. The two characters play off of each other and add lots of laughs along the way.

Other great sidekicks in time include Dr. Watson and Sancho Panza. These sidekicks perform different roles and functions in support of the main character they assist throughout a storyline. They serve a grander purpose than simply being a companion or assistant. They humanize the characteristics of a protagonist. They are also the character that moves the story.

The Mentor

The mentor is usually a great help for the protagonist in any story. They guard or protect them during a big quest or journey that involves both physically harmful obstacles as well as emotionally harmful obstacles. They can take many forms. Typically we imagine a grey-haired and aged man, but sometimes the mentor can take the most unsuspecting form.

These characters usually provide support and guide their "student" toward the right path. Mentors are known for having high morals and standards that can often challenge the student they are looking after. They always find a way to inspire them and push them to aspire for something good.

The Love Interest

This character might often be over-looked, but also plays a very important role in many stories. They are the person with whom the main character falls in love with. They serve, as a catalyst in the journey a protagonist must go through. Depending on the ultimate goal of the protagonist, the person who is their love interest can be of great assistance and motivation, much like a mentor can be.

So the next time you're watching your favorite cartoons, pay close attention to more than the character design quality. Look into the roles you believe each character plays and their significant contribution to a story line. You'll find it is hard to have a compelling story without these staple archetypes.
